CRPA-ACRP Conference

Dear Exhibitor,

On behalf of the CRPA Conference Committee and the Halifax 2012 Local Committee we would like to extend this invitation to you and your colleagues to participate in the CRPA conference. We encourage you to support our Association by registering an exhibitor booth and to also consider submitting papers for the scientific program.

The Scientific Program committee is chaired by Dr. George Mawko and will include presentations on both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. We hope to include a number of workshops on a variety of topics as well. The theme of this year’s conference is “Time to Prepare”. VENUE

The conference venue for CRPA 2012 will be the grand old Lord Nelson Hotel located in the heart of Halifax next to the Victorian Public Gardens and a short walk from the historic waterfront. The main exhibit area will accommodate twenty-one booths. Space in the main area is limited but we do have the option to add additional booths in another area if required. We currently have advance interest for six booths so we encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment. Exhibitors have the option of requesting their first, second and third choices of booth space, though the final decision will lie with the Local Committee. The floor plan is posted on the web site and as exhibitors register, booths assigned will be noted on this plan. A comprehensive vendor information package is also available on the CRPA web site.

The CRPA values its exhibitor participation in the conference and as a thank you; the Local Committee is hosting an exclusive “thank you” luncheon for the exhibitors on Tuesday May 29, 2012. We also plan to offer you “bottomless” coffee service throughout the exhibit period. Your booth registration fee will include two attendees, single 8x10 booth (draped side and back drop), exhibit room rental, booth set-up fees, electrical access, internet, security, all scientific sessions, all day exhibitor refreshments including continental breakfast, and welcome and exhibitor receptions. Free wireless internet is offered throughout the entire hotel area. Note, banquet is not included in fee.

The local committee gave very serious consideration to conference recovery costs. As a result we have separated the scientific and exhibit portion from the CRPA Banquet and Awards function.  We have found it necessary to separate the banquet tickets from the cost of the exhibit. Tickets for the banquet can still be purchased separately.

 

SPONSORSHIP

In the past, our corporate members have offered some additional financial assistance towards the success of the conference. The Local Committee has costed out various items for which sponsorship would be welcome. You may wish to sponsor an item in full or in part. Sponsors will be recognized in the printed program, and at the event(s) they will be sponsoring. Please contact the local committee contacts if you wish to sponsor an event or have other ideas for sponsorship.
